Ollie Bailey — Basketball Legacy & Biography

Ollie Bailey is a highly accomplished basketball figure whose career spans elite collegiate success, a prolific international professional career, coaching excellence, and impactful youth development work today in Las Vegas.

High School & College
• Inducted into the Chicago High School Basketball Hall of Fame as a standout prep player from Chicago.
• Began his collegiate career at Rutgers University (Big East), earning Big East All-Freshman Team honors in 2004–05.
• Transferred to Oklahoma City University, where in 2008 he had a historic season:
• NAIA National Player of the Year
• NAIA First-Team All-American
• Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year & Newcomer of the Year
• Led the team to the NAIA National Championship
• Only player in NAIA history to win both National Player of the Year and a National Championship in the same season.

Professional Basketball Career
• Played about a decade (2008–2019) professionally overseas in 13 countries.
• Won four professional championships, including:
• Three in the Dominican Republic
• One in Cyprus
• Earned league MVP honors twice in the Dominican Republic and was Venezuela Player of the Year in 2013.
• Collected numerous scoring titles across South America, including leading scorer honors in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Mexico, and Venezuela, and ranks among the top 25 all-time scorers in Dominican Republic league history.

Coaching & International Leadership
• After retiring in 2020, Bailey became Head Coach & Director of Basketball Operations at Corvuss American Academy in Mumbai, India, where he:
• Led the program to back-to-back championships (2021 & 2022)
• Developed four MVP award winners in just two seasons.

Youth Development & Basketball Ecosystem in Las Vegas
• Founder & Owner of OB Athletics, a basketball development program in Las Vegas dedicated to athlete growth, skill development, and competitive excellence.
• Founder of OB Dream Team, including competitive boys and girls programs — the girls’ program especially has accumulated multiple championships and strong competitive results since its inception.
• Co-Owner of OB-A2G Basketball Academy, contributing to one of the most comprehensive youth basketball ecosystems in the Las Vegas area focused on long-term development.

Co-Founder Anthony Allen Leadership in Athletic Performance

Transforming decades of coaching, education, and strength and conditioning expertise into a foundation for elite athlete development and long-term success.

Coach Anthony Allen is a California native from Rialto. He spent four years (2010-2014) in Las Vegas, New Mexico, earning multiple degrees and relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, in the summer of 2021. He is well known for his passion and dedication to mentoring youth athletes as well as his deep love and knowledge for the game of basketball. Coach Allen began his coaching career immediately after graduating high school and has over 20 years of experience coaching at various levels, from middle school to college. His coaching journey has taken him through California, New Mexico, and Nevada. In September 2019, he earned certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (SCS) through the NSCA. Since then, he has worked in the private sector, providing strength, speed & agility, and sport-specific skill training to athletes across multiple sports. As a licensed educator with more than a decade of experience, Coach Allen currently teaches at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. There, he serves as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team and as the head strength and conditioning coach for the program. He also mentors young coaches and coaches for the Vegas Elite girls AAU Program. Coach Allen holds a B.A. in Physical Education (2012) and an M.A. in Human Performance & Sports (2014) from New Mexico Highlands University. While studying at NHU, he served as a student council executive and worked as a graduate assistant for both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs and the Physical Education department.

My name is Eric Redeaux, and I’m from Beaumont, TX. I was a high school all American in basketball. Once I graduated from high school, I attended Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. While at Chipola College, I was recognized as one of the best power forwards in National Junior College rankings. After my stint at Chipola, I transferred to California State University Bakersfield in Bakersfield, California. I spent 2 years there, and I was drafted to play overseas. After my career ended, I decided to train kids in basketball and all become a mentor. Being a coach and mentor is rewarding for me because it is a way I can give back to kids the knowledge and wisdom that I’ve gained from those who have coached and mentored me.
